Alongside his academic achievements, Dr. Protopapa serves as a lecturer and faculty member at Parma University’s Department of Plastic Surgery, where he continues to mentor and educate the next generation of medical professionals.

He is the visionary founder of Scientech – the Swiss corporation behind Hyaline – and has established multiple brands in the field of aesthetic medicine. Dr. Protopapa is also the author of several international patents, contributing significantly to innovation in the medical aesthetics industry.

Dr. Carmelo Protopapa is a renowned expert in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery. He holds an MD in Medicine and Surgery from Modena University, Italy, and specialized in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Parma University. Additionally, he earned a Master’s degree in Chemistry from Milano Politecnico. Alongside his academic achievements, Dr. Protopapa serves as a lecturer and faculty member at Parma University’s Department of Plastic Surgery, where he continues to mentor and educate the next generation of medical professionals.
